Hi, my name is Chad and my dog’s name is Hero.
We named him that as a puppy after a Japanese man with that name. Hero is 5 and got bone cancer in his right rear foot so we decided to amputate it. His amputation was successfully completed on 1/8/2010. The photo is of course pre-op. Hero is the one on the left. Hope, his sister, is on the right. You can see the lump in his foot if you look closely. That is his swollen bone, which we stupidly thought was just a sprain at first.
